*In this exchange we will use an international version of English simple to understand; if you are very fluent in English keep in mind that other participants could not be so, be prepared to simplify your communication in order to get understood

** The contacts of the organizers will be available for the participants’ relatives and friends, in case they need to communicate something urgent; a daily post with pictures about the exchange will be published in Associazione Vagamondo Facebook Page and a daily email will be sent to the email contacts provided by the participants and leaders, updating about the daily activities. In case of need, we will send also personal messages/emails from participants/leaders to the indicated contacts. We are also available to explore options that work for you and don't interrupt your disconnection retreat.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

Erasmus Plus projects are great opportunities to travel, discover new cultures and countries, meet different people and create international relationships without spending a lot of money.

In order to support the learning process of the participants, the focus on healthy lifestyle and the correct implementation of the safethy rules, this exchange is alcohol-free: drinking alcohol is not allowed during the whole duration of the youth exchange, from the arrival day till the end of the program. The last night after the end of the program you are allowed to taste local wine or have a soft drink. If you cannot stay without drinking for 8 days this project is not for you. Also, the use of any kind of drug or substances that have a psychoactive effect on the brain is not allowed. In case you are taking prescribed medications that affect your functioning let us know in the application form, so we know it and we keep it in mind in case of any need.

In case you are interested in travelling, discovering new places, meeting new people and creating international relationships in a cheap way but not in the topics of the exchange, or you cannot actively participate in all the phases of the project, or you are not willing to go through experiential activities, doesn't matter, it's perfectly fine and we don't get offended. We ask you then not to apply for this program - it may become a not pleasant experience for you - but go for what you really want and make it awesome! In that case, you may find useful tools like Couchsurfing, Blablacar, traditional hitch-hiking, to get inspiration from other travellers through blogs or groups like this one or this one.
